What we do with your screenshot.
Short version: we use what you upload to prepare your mortgage health check, and that's it. No selling, no onsell to lenders, no marketing list.

Who we are
AussieLoan is a personal project run in Australia. You can reach us anytime at [email protected].
What we collect
- Your screenshot(s). Whatever you upload — and the information visible inside it (rate, balance, repayment, lender, anything else on the page).
- Your contact details. Name and email, so we can send your health check. Phone and lender are optional.
- Basic site analytics. Pages visited, buttons clicked, rough location and device.
What we use it for
- Reading your screenshot and comparing your rate against current lender offers.
- Writing the one-page email report and sending it to you.
- Replying to any follow-up questions.
We don’t add you to a marketing list, we don’t pass your details to lenders or brokers, and we don’t use your screenshot to train any third-party AI models.
You can hide what you don’t want to share
Screenshots are uploaded voluntarily. Block out account numbers, names, or anything else you’re not comfortable sharing — we genuinely only need your rate, balance, repayment, and lender to write a useful report.
Where it lives
Screenshots are stored in Cloudflare R2. Metadata and reports live in a managed MongoDB database. Outgoing email is sent through a transactional email provider. These services process your data on our behalf and don’t use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep your screenshot and report so we can answer follow-ups and improve the service. If you’d like everything deleted, email [email protected] and we’ll remove it.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we’ll sort it out. If you’re ever unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can also take it up with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
